India, an Evil Empire, Draws Attacks in Mumbai

The terrorists attacking India are as evil in their chosen tactics as were Catholic terrorists in Ireland in 1920,  Jewish terrorists in Palestine in 1948, or American terrorists in Oklahoma city in 1995.

But, as with those and most other terrorists, what drives the madmen who attacked India is a laundry list of wrongs and evils committed against those terrorists’ people. When there is such horror, and all reasonable ways of getting justice are exhausted, some small part of the victims will always turn to unreasonable ways.

Just as the British Empire committed many evils, earning it strife with Ireland, Palestine, and many others, so India (once fighting that very British Empire with terrorism) is an evil empire today, repressing and oppressing people within its own borders, plus occupying lands it illegitimately occupies, like Kashmir.

There are more Indian troops per capita in Kashmir, than any other occupation force on earth, including Communist China in Tibet, Israel in Palestine, Americans in Baghdad, or Russians in Chechnya

There are more Indian troops per capita in Kashmir, than any other occupation force on earth, including Communist China in Tibet, Israel in Palestine, Americans in Baghdad, or Russians in Chechnya

In 1947,  India and Pakistan were being formed from the shambles of the British Empire. Each state of that region was supposed to choose which of the two countries to join.

When Kashmir’s ruler was slow to decide who to join, India attacked Kashmir, invading and occupying their land, robbing the 80% Muslim population from what was an almost inevitable decision to join Pakistan, or else declare independence.

When India persisted in occupying this region, preventing its union with Pakistan, the United Nations declared that it Kashmir should have an election, referred to as a “plebiscite”, in order to determine whether it joined India or Pakistan.

Since Kashmir is 80% Muslim, there was never any doubt which way the election would go…so “democratic” India has not, in the 60 years since, EVER allowed that election, continuing to illegitimately occupy Kashmir.

This was part of India’s very aggressive, violet habit at that time. For example, they  also invaded and forcibly annexed the states of Junagadh and Hyderabad, one of which wanted to become Pakistani, the other wanting independence. India’s excuse was that both were majority Hindu…yet it ignores the fact that Kashmir is overwhelmingly Muslim.

People in Kashmir resist their country’s occupation, as any patriots should be expected to do.

When they do this against India’s troops, not only is it not “terrorism”, but it’s actually legal and legitimate, under international law, international humanitarian law, and Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. All people have a right to fight foreign occupation forces, not only a natural right, but even a legal one.

The repression and violence brought on by the extreme Indian military occupation, killing thousands of Kashmiri, ends up driving them to ever greater desperation. The Pakistani government takes advantage of this distress, funding militant movements because it wants the benefit of Kashmir as a territory, as illustrated by its opposition to Kashmir simply voting for its own independence.

Terrorism, in this situation, is almost inevitable. The war spills over from the Indian troops terrorizing the people of Kashmir, to Kashmiri terrorizing people in India. It’s not right, but it’s a natural result of the Indian government’s evil.

The same happened when Russia occupied Chechnya, the Soviets occupied Afghanistan…when you wrongfully occupy a people’s homeland, bringing them terror and suffering, eventually they bring it back to you.

  1. Well dear, go back home and learn some history. And I mean it. Just because you can type, you don’t want to be taken seriously. Right? And one more thing, learn from your parents and use some birth control.

    • Always happy to have the strength of my arguments verified by some weak-minded person who replies only with argumentum ad hominem, thereby showing that they don’t have any actual facts or logic to refute my arguments.

  2. Kashmir is annexed to INDIA by maharaja of kashmir that time and it is pakistan that invaded Kashmir to occupy kashmir before indian forces arrive. When the indian army is driving the pakistan army away,It’s a great blunder on part of nehru to go for plebiscite to UN asking indian armed forces to leave the POK and come back. INDIA is quite aware of what happened in sindh and punjab regions of pakistan where hindus, sikhs, christians are murdered in thousands and sent back to INDIA either dead or alive tucked into trains snatching them of all their properties and businesses. INDIA is aware that this is going to be situation for kashmiri pandits if kashmir is annexed to pakistan and so sent army to prevent this from happening and to claim it’s rightful place in kashmir after maharaja of kashmir signed his territory to INDIA.

In Hyderabad, Junagadh there were no mass-murders of muslim minorities as they had happened to hindu and sikh minorities in pakistan and strategically they are surrounded by all indian states. So, INDIA occupied the hyderabad state even when nawab of hyderabad wanted to annex it with pakistan as to protect it’s regional interests and also hindus from atrocrities of muslim state of pakistan

Pakistan being a muslim state committed lot of atrocities in it’s states that sparked the events of Maharaja of kashmir to sign kashmir for india as he is afraid for the hindus in his own state and so INDIA stepped in for protection of Hindu people in kashmir and today INDIA being a secular state there is no question of being a muslim majority state cannot be part of country as Kashmiri muslims hold same rights as do any other INDIAN and kashmir is an integral part of INDIA.

Indian army in kashmir is very much needed to maintain peace and stability in it’s territory and to prevent the terrorist infiltration into indian territory from POK.

For the same logic author mentioned here if such things of terrorism will happen when people are snatched of their properties and lives of their dear ones, It may had been actually people in INDIA who lost their dear ones and ancestral properties in pakistan due to muslims atrocities on them and driving them away from pakistan that who become terrorists.

There are lot pakistanis who also want peace with INDIA. pakistanis drove away hindus sikhs and christians in hoards dead or alive from their country but india adopted secular policy and ain’t attacked any of the internal states of pakistan so there is no reason for pakistani people to hate INDIA. INDIANS on other side constitute of lakhs of people that came from pakistan tucked in trains and their descendants and to observe this clearly it is the suffered want peace with their sufferers even when they are at advantage because that is INDIA, we are talking about..a land of peace and harmony and birth place of lot of religions & a spiritual jewel of world. All their anguish and trauma of sufferings of their ancestors have been neutralized to large extent in the peace prevailed in land.

Pakistan people can understand INDIA a better way than this article. Journalist reflects the thinking of people in the region. So, societies and journalists can be much knowledgable facts well enough before going on to publish articles stupendously

    • Eline, you’re skipping over the question of HOW Kashmir was “annexed” to India.

It’s because they wrongfully seized the state (along with Jammu), when Pakistan was being formed. Kashmir would have been in Pakistan from the outset, like every state that did succeed in forming Pakistan.

That is inexcusable. It’s the very kind of sociopathic imperialism that India’s leaders claimed to be wanting to escape, versus Britain.

      • Actually, if you google it both india and pakistan are evil with india taking the cake by far.

Kashmir wanted independance, but feared pakistan would invade. Nehru was prepared to help, while mountbatten isited kashmir be signed to india before help was sent. Pakistan invaded and asked for a vote knowing which way it would go.

Junagudh or w.e was a muslim ruler, with majority hindu who wanted ti be independant; when nehru/gandhi convinced brits to make states choose he chose pakistan india invaded and took it. And then started asking them to vote, similar to what pakistan is doing.

India however, def. Takes the cake with massacres all across the country obv. In kashmir but also, punjab, the northeast etc.

Google india’s dirty war, it’s a forbes article it shows india has not changed. I wondered since I havn’t been back in a few years, this ‘boom’ how is it really going.

Corporations stealing land off common people w/ gov. Help is how. Or land being listed as sold while owners refuse to sell it, and many other things.

Every human being, and every ‘indian’ who calls themselves a ‘patriot’ better hope the naxals win because this new ‘free indian’ gov. Is by far the most corrupt and vile ever seen. Worse than the turks, greeks, persians, or even british.

We need the common people, the soldiers of the khalsa, and someone like chandargupta maurya himself to rise up and take back our land!

You were, however incorrect in the facts of your article but the meaning is the same. It is pretty much forcefully occupying it, but legally it is not considered foreign. India doesn’t even control all of kashmir any more.

I really want this tyranny to end!
